Used to replace missing teeth, dentures restore your smile, whilst preserving your ability to speak and chew properly.
Missing teeth can affect the way a person chews, speaks and looks. If you are missing some or all of your teeth, dentures can restore your smile and help you avoid problems with eating and speaking.
Dentures can be partial or complete. Partial dentures can be fitted to replace one tooth or a small number of missing teeth. Complete dentures replace a full set of lower or upper teeth (or both) and are tailored to fit your own gums.
Your dentist will take a mould of your gums, along with a series of measurements to create a snug fit. These measurements are then sent to a dental technician, who will produce your beaumont dentures. This process usually takes several appointments.
Dentures can be fitted immediately after the removal of a tooth or teeth. However, as your gums heal, they may alter in shape and size, meaning your dentures may need refitting or even remaking after a few months. A consultation with your dentist will confirm what is suitable for you and what to expect next.
Our talented team works hard to make sure dentures match a person’s natural teeth as closely as possible. Dentures support your facial muscles, upholding lips and cheeks, while also helping you to chew and speak properly.
