Sophie grew up in Birmingham and moved to Manchester to complete her undergraduate training at the University of Manchester.

Sophie completed her Postgraduate Diploma at the prestigious London Eastman Dental Institute. This training has enhanced Sophie’s ability to provide advanced dental treatments such as complex crowns, bridgework, and porcelain and composite veneers. Sophie has also completed further examinations with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, and has been awarded the prestigious TC White Medal for her outstanding achievement of the highest mark in the examinations across the U.K. Sophie continues to update her skills and knowledge through further post-graduate qualifications and courses throughout the coming years.

Sophie enjoys all areas of Dentistry but particularly enjoys Restorative and Aesthetic treatments. Sophie is one of the few experienced Invisalign providers in the area and she accepts referrals from other dentists for these treatments. Due to her ongoing commitment to further development, attitude to learning and experience, Sophie can help patients with orthodontic and cosmetic problems, ranging from more simple to complex issues. With her wide range of expertise, Sophie can assess patients’ desires and work together with them to help them achieve their dream smile.

Sophie is particularly passionate about being as minimally invasive towards a patient’s natural teeth as possible, and much of her further training has focused on using modern techniques to achieve this. This helps to ensure long-term results whilst minimising harm to the patient’s teeth.

At the practice, Sophie loves seeing her loyal regular patients, alongside meeting new patients. She loves to hear all about your children, grandchildren, pet stories and holidays. Sophie equally loves working with our funny, friendly and caring team here at Beaumont Dental.

Away from the practice, Sophie enjoys socialising with friends, swimming and most of all, spending time with her husband and young family.

• What’s your favourite guilty pleasure TV show or movie?
  Grey’s Anatomy- I’ve watched 18 seasons start to finish 3 times. At this point, I’m a Doctor too.
• If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you want to have with you?
  A fan (I’m not a fan of heat) Airwaves chewing gum (no one likes funky breath) and my phone (need access to all of my WhatsApp groups).
• What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
  Trekking through the Amazon rainforest in Venezuela when I was 16.
• If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?
  Alaya our 2-year-old daughter passed away in October 2023. She may not be historical in the sense of the world, but she is the most important historical figure in my life. I would love to spend one more meal with her at her favourite restaurant – Juniper. We would talk about all of our favourite memories we had together in her short two-and-a-half-year life.
• What would it be if you could only eat one food for the rest of your life?
  Mousakka.
• If you were not a dentist, what would you be and why?
  A pilot- I would be able to travel the world for free OR a private investigator- I would enjoy solving mysteries.
• What did you enjoy most about where you qualified?
  Meeting my husband at Manchester Dental School.

  Working with a great team.
